Every project is priced on its own — size, materials, site access, and how much grading or wall work is needed all move the number. That's why we give free on-site estimates instead of guessing over the phone. You'll get an itemized quote with material options so you can see exactly where the money goes.

Do you handle permits?

Yes. Decks, pavilions, and most structural work in Harford County and the surrounding counties require permits, and we handle the plans and filings as part of the project. We build to code and set footings below the frost line — an inspection should never be a surprise.

How long does a project take?

A straightforward paver patio usually runs a few days once we break ground. A custom multi-level deck typically takes one to two weeks of build time. The bigger variable is permitting and material lead time, so we give you a realistic schedule up front rather than an optimistic one.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes. Active-duty and veteran military personnel receive 5% off their project. We also run a winter seasonal discount of roughly 5% depending on project size — booking a build during the slower months is one of the easiest ways to save.

Do you build in the winter?

We do. Deck framing, fencing, and most structural work continue through the colder months, and winter is when our schedule opens up. Some paver and concrete work depends on ground conditions, so we'll tell you honestly if a specific job is better held until spring.

What materials do you use for decking?

Accepted Answer

We build with composite, PVC, and pressure-treated wood, and we'll walk you through the real trade-offs. Composite costs more up front and asks almost nothing of you afterward; pressure-treated wood is cheaper to install but needs cleaning and sealing to last. We spec what fits your budget and how much upkeep you actually want.

Will my retaining wall hold up long term?

It will if it's built correctly, and that's mostly about what's behind it. Every wall we build gets a compacted leveling pad, drainage stone, and filter fabric so water moves through instead of pushing against it. Walls fail from water pressure and bad bases far more often than from the block itself.
